Lately I’ve been getting bored of hardcore music. I feel like its getting a little repititive, annoying and trying too hard. Aggressive music comes from the soul. not from how loud or how low you can play youre guitar. Sex pistals is aggressive, Nirvana is aggressive, hell even Jimmi Hendrix is aggressive, way more aggressive than hardcore music. People dont know what they are talking about, which is dumb, what is the point to music if it has no message. John Lennon would have puked if he had heard those bands. In two years people will look back on the scene and see how stupid it is,like the way we view rap metal bands today, If you look at artists that have changed not only music but culture and the way people see the world, its because it connected with the people and their views at that time. John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Bob Dylan and even Morrissey, some big names, I guarantee none of the bands from this scene will have the same impact as them. It all comes down to substance and these bands wouldn’t know where to find it even if it punched them in the face. Do you think bands that support something like an isanyoneup event, would have the same caliber as the Beatles? ahah no way.No one ever thinks about how history will remember them. I guarantee the scene will be dead in prob 2 to 3 years. The world is going through hell and people want music that represents their struggles, not meaningless yelling and synchronized headbands. Well see what the future has in store for these so called hardcore bands.
